EDEC 230 GUIDING THE YOUNG CHILD AND LAB
Guiding the Young Child and Lab provides information and opportunities for students to learn and practice positive guidance skills that support and teach children to become self-directed, and socially and emotionally healthy. The student will also develop skills and techniques for involving parents and family members in the guidance process. The course requires a field experience component in a classroom environment to demonstrate and implement the skills learned in class. Students will have the opportunity to interact with young children and their families.
