Transfer to Other Institutions
Stone Child College students who anticipate transferring to any other institution of higher learning should confirm that the credits earned are accepted for transfer toward a degree and that the institution to which the student transfers determine this solely.
A student who plans to transfer to a four-year college or university should follow these four steps:
- Obtain a current catalog of the institution to which you wish to transfer, and study the entrance requirements and suggestions for freshman and sophomore programs in the major field of interest.
- Consult with a Stone Child College counselor or faculty advisor about fulfilling these requirements.
- Consult, either by letter or by personal interview, with an Admissions Officer of the institution you wish to transfer for further information about curriculum and transfer regulations.
- Check one or two semesters before transfer to be certain all requirements will be met, and all regulations observed to the satisfaction of the four-year college or university.
